State Cross Country & Road Walks Updated 08/05/2011

Scheyville Road, Scheyville 2756
Hosted by: Kurrajong/Bilpin Little Athletics Centre
This event is held on the 1st Sunday in July each year, alternately in a country and metropolitan area. Athletes aged U8 through to U17 compete in the Cross Country Championships. Boys & Girls aged U9 through to U17 compete in the Road Walk Championships
Entry Fee:
An entry fee of $10 per athlete applies for the day (ie: not per event). Late Entries will be accepted until close of business 29th June, 2011 at a cost of $25 per competitor.
Entries WILL NOT be taken on the day.
Awards:
Medals for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place getters, individual and teams.
Teams – each Centre may have as many competitors per event as they wish.
First three (3) per Centre comprise team. One (1) team per Centre per event.
Eligibility:
Team members, to be eligible to compete as such must, with the exception of new registrations, have been members of that Centre as at May 31. Competitors may compete up an age group, one (1) only, to form a team but they must be eligible to compete in the event ie. in Cross Country must be genuine U7 before competing in U8. In Road Walks minimum age for competitors is genuine U9.
Uniform:
Full Centre uniform must be worn, including centre number, registration number, IGA patch and age patch in prescribed locations.
