Instruction will be given on the following track configurations:
- 400m 6 lane track with 200m starts, 400m starts and 200m hurdles
- 100m 8 lane straight track
- 100m 5 lane hurdles track
- 2 discus sectors
- 4 shot put sectors
- 1 javelin sector
Equipment needed:
- 2 x 100m tape measures or 1 x 50m and 1 x 100m
- 1 x 2 litre pump up spray bottle
- 1 x lane line marker
- 1 x three lane line marker
- 1 x black line marking stuff or oxide
- 50m of 8mm hemp rope for the radius
- 110m of 6mm cord that you can stretch tight
- Approx. 50 pegs. Peg down high spots where rope is off the ground
- 4 people - 1 to mark out (start ½ hour before everyone else), 1 to mix, 1 to push the single line marker and one to push the 3 lane line marker
- 1 x 5 hp lawn mower, which cuts very low, and mow each line
