Welcome

Ambarvale Little Athletics Centre caters for athletes from Tiny Tots (3 & 4 years) up to the U17 age group.  The Tiny Tots participate in games and activities designed to develop gross motor skills. For the U6 – U17’s we offer a wide range of track & field events such as running, jumping & throwing which are modified to suit the age and ability of the children.

Our season runs from September  to  March  with a 4 week break during Dec/Jan.  Weekly competition is held on Friday nights from 6pm at Oswald Reserve, Oswald Crescent, Rosemeadow.  Athletes have the choice to either participate solely in the Friday night competition or also compete at:

  • Gala Days - Held at other centres on weekends
  • Zone Multi, State Multi
  • Zone, Region and State Championships
  • Cross Country and Road Walks
  • Winter Cross Country, May-July

The aim of Little Athletics is to:
